Featured Session - AdventureSmart

AdventureSmart at National Camp 2017
Do you want to make an impact on reducing the likelihood and severity of incidents which may require Search and Rescue?

Have you wondered about how to position your JFW group as a leaders in the outdoors for your area, and to attract new members to your group?

Looking for a way to demonstrate leadership within your group?

Do you want to find out how to obtain free swag, like Fox40 whistles, emergency blankets, trip plans, coloring books, etc.? Swag you can provide to your members and the public?

If you said yes to any of the above questions then you should be signing up to become an AdventureSmart Presenter. In this session we will give you all the information and materials you need to present any of the five AdventureSmart Programs (Hug a Tree, SurviveOutside, PaddleSmart, SurviveOutside Snowmobile, & Snow Safety). We will equip you with exercises and walk you through all the material, teach you how to report your presentations and how to order supplies (for free!), and how to get out into the community.
Also I don't know if you have noticed, but 5 of the 10 offerings of the AdventureSmart sessions are full, with the others close to filling up. In order for these sessions to run, we need you as presenters! So don't hesitate and sign up now!
