The Wardens, weather, and wood (W3) all cooperated in producing another successful event. Light snow in the afternoon and evening ensured the fire hazard was minimal. The snow level at the site was not deep enough for anyone to get stuck, which made things easier but reduced the entertainment value.
This year we thought that before, during and after pictures might tell a better story. There were no marshmallows but the fireworks were quite spectacular for the 15 participants at Shingle Hill. Even the dogs had a good time, but they’re a little hard of hearing now. ☺ For many of us, there is no better way to bring in the New Year!
We look forward to seeing you on December 31, 2017 when we can do it again!
